In their debut performance The Lawson Group will open Palm Fest at Palmer's Bar this Saturday, August 2nd at 1:30 pm. The band consists of Rochelle Becker(Baritone Sax), Kevin "Kev-Baby" Boyle(Bass), Datta(Accordian, vocals), John Gwinn "Johnny Knuckles"(Drums), Charles Lawson(Guitar and shouting), Max Ray(Tenor Sax)and Randle Webb(guitar).

This year's Santiago Shakedown at Bailey Ray's kicks off at 2:30 pm with the Lisa Wenger Band. Also playing will be Scottie Miller & the Re-uptake Inhibitors, Brandon Scott Sellner and Johnny Rawls along with the Soulmates (inside the bar during breaks).

1st Annual Blues On The Chippewa
August 2, Durand, WI
Memorial Park bandshell in the heart of Durand, WI will be the site of the First Annual Blues on the Chippewa benefit concert and music event on Saturday, August 2 from 1 pm to 8:45 pm. Admission is free with a donation of a non-perishable food item to help re-stock the Bread of Life local food shelf in Durand.
Nine bands will be participating in the concert in Memorial Park followed by performances at the five local bars in Durand. Twin Cities' own Cool Disposition is scheduled from 7:00 - 7:45 pm at the bandshell.
