With Cadillac Kolstad & the Flats and Cornbread Harris
The ongoing Sunday Night Dance Party continues at Palmer's Bar on the West Bank featuring Cornbread Harris and Cadillac Kolstad & the Flats. For those of you who don't know Cornbread Harris this is an excellant chance to catch the veteran keyboard artist, singer and storyteller. Cornbread is a Lifetime Member of GTCBMS and represented Minnesota at the 2008 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN as the solo act.
Cadillac Kolstad & the Flats are a high energy rock-a-billy, rock and blues trio featuring Andrew "Cadillac" Kolstad on keyboard. The trio also journeyed to Memphis for the 2008 IBC as the band representing Minnesota. If you're lucky Cadillac may relate the saga of that trip with his song, "Cornbread Stole My Gal". Palmer's Bar is listed in Blues Venues.

Longtime local and regional fan favorites Inside Straight Blues Band led by guitarist Kurt Koehler will be wrapping up the holidays at Inn Kahoots in Hamel, MN this Thursday after Christmas. They also will be playing at Stars & Strikes Entertainment Center in Wyoming, MN on New Year's Eve.
Besides being an accomplished musician, Kurt is being honored at this year's Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame in the category of "Blues Literature" for his publication Twin Cities Blues News.

Friday December 19th at Famous Dave's
B3 organist Paulie Testa has been performing professionally for over 46 years with more local and national acts than could possibly be listed here. This past year Paulie was nominated for the 2009 Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame. This Friday you can catch him at his regular spot at the B3 keyboard for the Corey Stevens Band along with former Crow bassist and MN Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member Larry Wiegand.
A lifelong resident of St Paul's East Side, Paulie is an active member of the GTCBMS and has been exceptionally generous raising over $295 for this year's "Get Out of Town Fund" through the sale of his CD's and by donating a guitar with a number of artist's autographs for a raffle.

Saturday, December 20th in Mankato, MN
The Mike Fugazzi Band (featuring members of NiteRail) will be performing at the Wine Cafe Pub & Bar (see Blues Venues for location) on Saturday, December 20th at 9 pm. It also happens to be Mike's birthday! Mike has been active with GTCBMS participating in the Road To Memphis Challenge with his band and also helping as an instructor for one of our first Blues For Kids programs. If you are in the Mankato area on Saturday night check out the Wine Cafe, the band and wish Mike, "Happy Birthday!"

Shaw's Annual Christmas Party — Dec. 20th
Featuring the Lisa Wenger Band
From 4-8 pm on Saturday, December 20th Shaw's will host their Annual Christmas Party with "Complimentary Buffet". At 9pm the Lisa Wenger Band will take the stage. Celebrate Christmas Nordeast-style with the bunch at Shaw's (see Blues Venues for location.)
