Wilbur’s Wang Dang Doodle Party

Keyboard Solo

Wilbur’s Wang Dang Doodle Party was organized by the Greater Twin Cities Blues Music Society to recognize and honor Wilbur Cole. The event was hosted by Floyd’s in Victoria on Sunday, May 7th.

Vonderharr Emcee’s

Steve Vonderharr was the emcee at the event. During the roast, Wilbur cracked up when Steve revealed the secret Puddin told to Steve's wife, Karen: "I'm the one who dresses Wilbur!!"

Hat’s Off

Wee Willie Walker got into the fun when he shouted out "Hat’s Off to Wilbur"

SoulMates Playing

The SoulMates kick started the event and the Bound Band capped it off with plenty of roasts and toasts in between by fellow musicians, friends and family of Wilbur Cole.

Floyd’s Sign

Wilbur Cole’s Wang Dang Doodle Event topped off a weekend of tribute to Wilbur in recognition of five years of hosting the Sunday jam at Floyd’s. The evening ended with the traditional jam.
