Wow, what a party! Lots of music. Loads of guest musicians. All gathered to honor Dan Schwalbe for his 30-plus years on the local music scene. It was a busy day for Dan as he celebrated his career by playing with current and former bandmates all afternoon.

Mounds View Festival GOOT Fundraiser
Papa John Kolstad & Cool Disposition
August 20, 2006
Harold Tremblay & Papa John Kolstad
Thanks to the folks at the Mounds View Festival for their contribution to the 2006-07 Get-Out-Of-Town Fund. Papa John Kolstad performed with Harold Tremblay in the late afternoon. It was a perfect late summer day with great music.
Dan Schwalbe joins in.
Dan Schwalbe joined Harold and Papa John on a tune. After Papa John’s set, Cool Disposition played a couple of sets leading into the Festival’s fireworks display. GTCBMS had a table with info about membership, the International Blues Challenge and photo albums from past events.
All in all, it was a great GOOT event for our Minnesota representatives at the 2007 International Blues Challenge.
