It's always noteworthy when our local musicians get to play with a national act. Rockin' Daddy & the Rough Cuts opened for Little Charlie & the Nightcats at Famous Dave's on Friday, June 29th at 9pm.

The Rough Cuts were in fine form featuring Steve Grosshans on harp and vocals, Dan Schwalbe on guitar, Marty Bryduck on drums and Dave Sanny on bass. The lineup for Little Charlie and the Nightcats was Charlie Baty on guitar, Rick Estrin on harp and vocals, J. Hansen on drums and Lorenzo Farrell on bass. The Nightcats' tunes featured Rick Estrin's lyrics usually telling whimsical stories supported by Charlie's crisp guitar licks.
