2003 Lazy Bill Lucas Event a Great Success!

Everyone who made a contribution to the Lazy Bill Lucas Remembered event made a difference. Contributions include such things as announcements on the radio, advertisements in our blues newspaper, dubbed interview segments, participation in the RoundTable, loaning music, donating memorabilia, making music, recording music, taking pictures, helping with the displays, sharing a few thoughts about Lazy Bill, or just showing up because you are a blues fan. Thanks to all of you!

Our society received much positive feedback about this kickoff event and heard much encouragement to plan future events. Perhaps the Greater Twin Cities Blues Music Society has found a niche within our blues community; that is, the research and documentation of our blues community coupled with themed events that can help showcase our research topics. The GTCBMS is pleased to be providing a service that is useful, informative, and fun.

Again, thank you very much for making our kickoff event happen with fanfare! We will be revisiting Lazy Bill Lucas and his contributions to our Twin Cities blues community when we show the video of the event and again when we are ready to publish our booklet about Bill Lucas.
