T Albert Lloyd at Taste of Minnesota

Kicking Off the Music at Noon on July 2

This year's big attractions at Taste are Elvis Costello, White Snake, Judas Priest and Bret Michaels of Poison. Not a lot for the blues fans I'm afraid. But wait! The opening act for this whole sheebang is the T Albert Lloyd Band on the August Schell Stage at noon on Thursday, July 2. T will also be appearing at the Fargo Blues Festival on July 31 at 3 pm. So there is some hope for the Taste of Minnesota this year but you have to show up early on Thursday to catch the blues act. Admission at Taste of Minnesota is free until 3 pm. — Jake Jacobson
