2010 MN Blues Hall of Fame Inductees Selected

The HOF Nominations Committee is pleased to announce the results of the 2010 Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame elections:

 

 

• "Blues Performer" — Paul Testa, Jr.
• "Supportive of Blues Non-Performer " — Chris Mackey, Bayfront Blues Festival
• "Blues Art & Literature" — Pat Dawson, Blue Loon Records
• "Blues Recording" — RJ Mischo & the Kid Morgan Band [featuring Percy Strother], Ready To Go
• "Blues Song" — Big George Jackson, "If I Could Change"

The 2010 Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame Ceremony will be held at Minnesota Music Cafe on Sunday, October 17th. Doors open at noon. Contact melody@gtcbms.org if you would like to help with the party. 59 ballots were cast by the 228 GTCBMS members who were eligible to vote in the 2010 Minnesota Blues Hall of Fame election.
