2nd Annual Deep Blues Festival
Washington County Fairgrounds, July 18-20
Kudos to Chris Johnson for his ambitious undertaking and thanks for allowing The Greater Twin Cities Blues Music Society to be a part of this unique event. Three days and 45 bands. Wow! Maybe every performance didn't resonate with every member of the audience but there was a lot of variety and all the performers were energetic, honest and enthusiastic in their presentations. We look forward to future Deep Blues Festivals. Thanks, Chris.
I was only able to cover some of the acts on Friday and Sunday but I took over 600 pictures. Hopefully the slideshow below will capture some of the spirit of the event.
